Hello, my name is Keyee (Pronounced Kay-e) and my purpose in life is to serve! I exemplify this in each session. I have experience working with children, couples, individuals (although I prefer to work with women!), and families experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and more. I prefer CBT, Christian counseling and Solution focused brief therapy. I started my journey or life (my name means Life) in Newark, NJ where I was born and raised in a multi-cultural family with roots in Liberia and Guyana. My immediate family consisted of my dad, my late mom and older brother, four younger sisters and one younger brother. I love and enjoy my family and they play a major role in who I am. I began my professional career at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD where I earned my BA in Sociology in 2009. I initially wanted to become a nurse, but after several failed attempts I began to understand that my calling lied elsewhere. I spent several years working in the social services field as resident aides and case managers, helping people in long term care facilities and shelters. During that time, I made the choice to pursue my MA in Counseling Psychology at Felician University in Lodi, NJ where I graduated in 2015. I continued my career in social services for a while longer before finally attempting to obtain my counseling license in 2019. I struggled with fear as I weighed the choice of staying at my then place of employment and making the leap to full time counseling, so I did both for a few years. However, through faith I made the leap to start Healing Hands Counseling & Coaching in 2022 and full time pursue my calling in 2023.
With that said, I have several years in the helping field, and three plus years as a therapist. My aim is to provide top notch, person centered, quality care. I am more than a listening ear; I am support while on your journey of healing. I see your potential and healing already!

Appointments: Please check availability here or contact us. For the first appointment please select INTAKE. Once booked, an email will be forwarded requesting you make an account on our safe & secure patient portal. All meetings will be virtual or in the comfort of your home.
In Home appointments: When booking an in-home appointment, please note that we currently serve Camden County.
Payments: All payments are due before session. You can make secure payments through our portal or scheduling app (once booked). Payments must be made before the appointment takes place or it will be cancelled! If you need assistance with paying for counseling, please make sure to contact us!
Cancellation policy: There is a fee of $25 if the appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment.
Late fee's/No Shows: A grace period of 15 minutes will be provided for each appointment that is scheduled. However, there are no refunds for 'no shows'. Please inform us timely if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment.
